He began performing in pubs at age 11 and gained widespread attention after uploading a song recorded on his iPhone, leading to his discovery by manager Ryan Walter. Capaldi rose to fame with his 2017 single "Bruises" and achieved global success with "Someone You Loved," which topped charts in the UK and US, earned a Grammy nomination, and became one of the most-streamed songs on Spotify.
