Ruth lies to her husband Karl about visiting her sister to sneak away with her lover Andreas. Meanwhile, Karl invites colleague Daniela over. Their plans collapse when robbers Schelling and Kramberg pose as TV technicians, tying up Andreas and hiding Daniela. They exploit secrets to pit Ruth and Karl against each other.
