Ten Australians are dropped off alone in separate areas of the Tasmanian wilderness where they must deal with the forces of nature, hunger, and loneliness.

West Coast Range, Australia.

Ten survivalists are dropped into the West Coast Ranges of Tasmania for the challenge of a lifetime: to survive in the wild without any human contact. Only the last one standing can win $250,000.

In a battle against time, the survivalists hurry to establish shelters or catch food before their energy reserves run out.

A triumphant catch staves off the hunger of one survivalist, but as the adrenaline of the adventure fades, can the others pivot their strategies to bring in food?

A shock medical complication threatens to remove one of our toughest participants, while isolation begins to take its toll.

The survivalists' race to catch a wallaby and procure much-needed protein is on... who will be the first to eat red meat?

Food is in extraordinary abundance for some survivalists, while others struggle with empty bellies as they question their future in the competition.

One survivalist's body begins to shut down, another is forced to reckon with their emotions, and a wildlife encounter threatens another's chances at winning.

The remaining survivalists come face to face with their physical limitations. Can innovation save the day, or will a routine med check bring one survivalist to the end of their journey?

The survivalists' bodies are under more stress than ever before. As winter closes in, a swell of rain raises the lake's level, potentially putting shelters at risk.

With physical and environmental conditions deteriorating, our survivalists are forced to make difficult decisions about their future.

As the three remaining participants enter the final stretch, a pademelon catch changes the course of the game.

Shay eats pademelon, Muzza rejoins the game with a big eel catch and Corrine sustains herself with insects and determination; emotions surge, bodies fail and one person leaves with $250,000.
Kumi Taguchi looks back at the record-breaking achievements of the 10 participants and their time on the land, with incredible unseen footage, surprising insights and new revelations.

Fiordland, New Zealand.

Ten survivalists take on the wilderness of New Zealand's South Island, documenting their own isolated battles and striving to be the last person standing to win $250,000.

The contestants try to adapt to the extreme conditions on the South Island of New Zealand, where they face near-zero temperatures, icy-cold winds, relentless rainfall and vicious sandflies.

The participants' focus turns to food. Some want to head up the mountains to hunt deer, while others opt for fish and berries. But with limited calories and tools, procuring food is no easy task, so they must think outside the box or risk starvation.

With difficulties of acquiring food, some find it challenging to trust their own judgement, while others start to feel the true effects of isolation.

Torrential rain batters New Zealand's South Island, with contestants facing danger if they brave the elements to hunt or starvation if they don't.

New Zealand's wild weather, lack of food and some bad luck force all of the contestants to dig deep in order to survive.

Frustration reaches a tipping point for most of the contestants, as finding food proves difficult for some and a severe storm rolls in over the horizon.

A dangerous storm hits, testing the contestants' resilience and shelters. Who will weather the rain, and who will struggle to adapt?

The cold weather has set in, making it ever more difficult for the participants to catch food; as hunger kicks in, desperation takes over.

As the end of the competition nears, the final participants battle against nature and themselves. One of them will take home the $250K prize.

The Reunion brings the entire cast together for the first time since they were dropped into the extreme and wild terrain of New Zealand's South Island (Aotearoa's Te Waipounamu), having to survive completely isolated from the world and each other, and stripped of modern possessions and comforts. Join Andreas, Chace, Jack, Jason, Krzysztof, Leanne, Mike, Rick, Suzan and Tamika as they compare their strategies and experiences for the very first time, reveal the toughest struggles they faced and are shown surprising, unseen footage.
