Protectors has become one of the top agencies representing talent in the soccer world. Its founders, Mago, Conde, and Reynaldo, are in France on business when their nightmare begins: their phones begin blowing up with calls from their players announcing that they’re leaving the agency. The three are forced to return to Argentina to figure out what, or who, is behind the broken contracts.

Armed with intel from a private investigator, the Protectors go after Cartens on two fronts: a business deal the magnate has with China and Pamela, Cartens’ wife. Reynaldo and Mago, with the help of a trio of stooges, scheme to handle the first while Conde reluctantly agrees to approach Pamela, leading him to discover the truth about her role in his business empire.

Mago, Conde, and Reynaldo set out to sabotage “Rana” Soldati’s transfer to Sportivo Cuomo. As one of the players who convinced others to align with Cartens, the Protectors are willing to go to extreme and risky lengths to make sure the deal doesn’t go through. Also, an accident brings Conde and Pamela closer together and Alessandra’s arrival jeopardizes Marcio and Sofía’s reconciliation.

In a PR move, Cartens decides to use his foundation to help retired soccer players who have fallen on hard times and offer development to younger players from troubled backgrounds. To kick off the program, Cartens throws a lavish barbecue, giving the Protectors another chance to bring down their enemy. But when their plan doesn't pan out, the Protectors are left wondering what went wrong.

Cartens’ discovery of Conde and Pamela’s affairs has immediate repercussions: Pamela is “transferred” to Miami and is served divorce papers. Although things haven’t gone as planned recently, the Protectors still see Curro, who apparently is on his way out of town, as being in their corner. But a going away party for the businessman ends in the worst possible way for the Protectors.

The Protectors face drug trafficking charges that threaten to splinter the group. Reynaldo, seemingly seeking a way out and a ticket back to Colombia, offers to cut a deal with Cartens for a player the agency had been hiding. The business magnate bites at the offer, unaware that the Protectors have laid a trap that will ensnare his son. But a sudden turn of events changes everything.

The Protectors are pinned down under a barrage of bullets. With their lives in danger, Conde manages to get them into a helicopter and escape to Escobar, where, with the help of a friend, they’re able to hide out while things cool off. As they work on a strategy, the Protectors receive a call from Pamela, who offers to help bring down Cartens once and for all.

Mago and Conde’s sports agency is teetering towards bankruptcy. But when a young playmaker with a bright future falls into their lap, the two see a chance to reverse their fortune — although it requires that they form an alliance with Conde’s sworn enemy, Colombian sports agent Reynaldo Morán.

The agents unveil Protectores S.A. to the press. Their first order of business is swift to arrive, as they must investigate Marcio’s ex-girlfriend, who has just arrived from Italy and claims to be pregnant with the star’s baby. Upon learning about the “pregnancy”, Sofi breaks up with Marcio, which leaves the agents with an all-new problem.

When Almada, a player who’s to be transferred to Fluminense, tears his meniscus before a physical, the agents orchestrate a sleight of hand in a desperate attempt to save the deal.

On the wedding day of one of the agency’s star players, Mago, Conde and Reynaldo put all of their energy into making the event an unforgettable occasion. It does prove to be unforgettable, but for all the wrong reasons as the agents deal with family drama and an unfortunate knife accident.

The agents turn to a shady soccer fan with considerable influence in order to smooth over a player’s impending move to Mexico. But when the fan demands a pay-off, the agents are forced to play dirty.

Brian is seduced by a beautiful woman at his going away party. But upon learning that the woman was hired by Pinza to spike his drink, and thus make him fail a drug test and negate his transfer, the agents race to replace the urine sample.

In what is supposed to be a heartfelt and emotional send-off for retiring goalkeeper Hiena Andrada, the agents find themselves playing peacekeepers when Andrada’s wife and sidepiece clash at the game.

Just as Protectores S.A. is riding a wave of positive news, Pinza reappears to get his revenge: Mago is kidnapped, and the agents are forced to rescue one of their own. Meanwhile, at Sofi and Marcio’s wedding, Sofi’s dad Horacio gives the couple a wedding gift that draws the attention of the police.
