When Laila complains to her friend Sarah that her husband Ghaith only cares about his business, she tells her about her own problem with her husband Waleed whom she is trying to have a baby with out of fear that he'll take another wife. Laila sees the guy who caused her leg injury in a store.

Laila is fearful when she returns home, especially since she told Ghaith half the truth. She meets a young painter and agrees to go to see him at his house. They come close to sleeping together but Laila runs away at the last minute.

Laila calls the painter Gad again and accompanies him to the movies. After they sleep together, he tells her about his family.

Ghaith notices the change in Laila's behavior and tells her that he loves her despite his negligence. Laila tries to see Gad.

Laila's sister Rasha is in love with Gad. Laila's mother asks her for money to cover her gambling problem. Ghaith starts to suspect Laila.

Gad grows angry after he asks Laila to leave her husband and be with him, but she refuses.

Ghaith admonishes Laila for not taking care of him and their daughter. Aziz tries to warn Gad about his relationship with Laila.

Rasha tries to find Gad's house. Sarah enlists the help of an astronomy expert. Waleed sees Laila and Gad together.

Gad is upset over the way Laila is treating her husband. Rasha finds Gad's house. Ghaith starts watching Laila.

Ghaith is disappointed to discover that Laila was meeting Sarah. When Ghaith's daughter has a minor accident, Ghaith can not reach Laila.

Laila is distressed that she wasn't there for her daughter. She ends her relationship with Gad to preserve her family.

Ghaith feels guilty for watching Laila. A devastated Gad tries to kill himself after Laila breaks up with him. Sarah is upset that she can't get pregnant and asks Waleed for a divorce.

Laila and Ghaith celebrate their wedding anniversary. Sherine supports Tamer when his father falls ill. Tamer chides his father for marrying a much younger woman, and asks his brother Ghaith to come to see their father.

Rasha confesses her feelings for Gad who is surprised to learn that she is Laila's sister. Ghaith goes to see his father who asks him to manage his company along with Tamer.

Gad starts to teach Rasha to draw. When Dalia's daughter is late, Tamer tells her that he has her. Gad tries to see Laila but she sends him away.

Ghaith meets an old classmate. Laila's mother suffers from a big gambling loss and is forced to sell her jewelry.

It's revealed that Sherine is in love with Wael. Laila and her friend start designing clothes. Rasha is sure that Gad loves her and introduces him to Laila.

Laila is shocked to learn that her sister is in love with Gad. Ghaith's old classmate tries to get close to him. Sherine confesses to Tamer that she doesn't reciprocate his feelings.

Maya continues to try and get close to Ghaith. When Sarah falls pregnant, Ghaith informs Wael and tells him to leave Sherine. Tamer threatens Dalia till she asks for a divorce.

Sherine falls apart when Waleed leaves her. Laila threatens Gad. When Rasha and Laila's mother learn that Laila was involved with Gad, her mother can't handle the news and died.

Laila is devastated after her mother dies. When she discovers that she has cancer, her husband and her sister support her. Sarah and Waleed are impatient to meet their baby.

Laila is afraid to die and leave her family. Ghaith starts to suspect Laila again and manages to get Gad's number.

Rasha decides to drop out of college and get a job. Ghaith overhears a call between Gad and Laila and confirms that she is cheating on him.

Ghaith decides not to confront Laila because of her illness. Fady helps Rasha find work without having to drop out of college.

Ghaith battles his feelings of helplessness in the face of Laila's illness. Sarah breaks down when she learns that her baby is ill. Ghaith meets Gad but doesn't tell him that he is Laila's husband.

Waleed asks Sarah to abort the baby but she refuses. Gad tells Ghaith about his relationship with Laila.

Laila notices the change in Ghaith. Fady tells Rasha that he likes her, but she tells him that she just had a failed relationship that she is scared of repeating.

As Laila's condition takes a turn to the worse, Rasha tells her about Fady who visits the family to ask for Rasha's hand. Sarah has a boy who needs a heart transplant.

As Ghaith continues to support Laila, she comes to suspect that he discovered her relationship with Gad after she sees Gad's number on Ghaith's phone. Ghaith learns the whole truth from Gad.

Sarah's son undergoes surgery. Rasha and Fady get engaged. Ghaith kills Gad. Laila's daughter Dima goes to live with Rasha after Laila dies and Ghaith is arrested.
