Most Watched Indian OTT Shows This Week — 27 July to 2 August 2026

Samay Raina's format tops the weekly chart by a distance, with 8.6 million viewers against 4.9 million for the show behind it. It is also the year's most watched non-sport title in India overall, at an estimated 38.5 million viewers across the first half of 2026.

Eighteen years into its run, the Gokuldham Society sitcom is still the second most watched thing on Indian streaming in a given week. Its catch-up audience on SonyLIV and the free tiers is the quiet engine behind numbers like this — a reminder that India's OTT chart is not only a subscription-original chart.

The week's strongest new premiere. Released on 24 July, this Hindi romance follows Chander between the woman he could not forget and the life he built in the hills, and it reached 4.8 million viewers within its first full week.

The captive-reality format — sixteen celebrities locked in a jail set for weeks on end — returns for a second season and lands fourth at 4.2 million viewers. Reality and unscripted account for three of this week's top four.

The other 24 July premiere: a school comedy in which a relaxed principal and a staff room of misfits try to drag a failing public school back to its feet. Four million viewers in week one puts it within touching distance of Musafir Cafe.

Fifteen seasons of celebrities being talked into stunts they visibly regret, and it still delivers 3.8 million viewers a week. The chart lists it on JioHotstar.

Running since 2020 and still charting, the story of a woman who rebuilds her life on her own terms closes the published list at 3.2 million viewers. Three of this week's seven titles are daily television rather than streaming originals.
