Most Watched Indian OTT Shows This Week — 27 July to 2 August 2026
Ormax StreamView's weekly viewership chart for India, and where each of the seven reported titles streams.

Ormax's weekly chart is the closest thing India has to a published OTT ratings board, and this week's is a study in how little the biggest hit has to do with the rest of the market. India's Got Latent season 2 pulled an estimated 8.6 million viewers — nearly twice the next title on the list.
Underneath it, the chart is dominated by long-running television rather than new streaming originals: a daily sitcom in its eighteenth year, a stunt-reality format in its fifteenth season, and a soap that has been running since 2020. Two genuine new premieres broke in, both released on 24 July.
The seven titles Ormax placed on record for the week, ranked, with where to watch each one in India.
1/7India's Got Latent (Season 2)

Series · 2024 · Hindi · Jun 14, 2024
Netflix8.7Viewers, week of 27 Jul 8.6 million Samay Raina's format tops the weekly chart by a distance, with 8.6 million viewers against 4.9 million for the show behind it. It is also the year's most watched non-sport title in India overall, at an estimated 38.5 million viewers across the first half of 2026.
2/7Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Series · 2008 · Hindi · Jul 28, 2008
SonyLIVMX Player6.1Viewers, week of 27 Jul 4.9 million Eighteen years into its run, the Gokuldham Society sitcom is still the second most watched thing on Indian streaming in a given week. Its catch-up audience on SonyLIV and the free tiers is the quiet engine behind numbers like this — a reminder that India's OTT chart is not only a subscription-original chart.
3/7Musafir Cafe

Series · 2026 · Hindi · Jul 24, 2026
NetflixViewers, week of 27 Jul 4.8 million The week's strongest new premiere. Released on 24 July, this Hindi romance follows Chander between the woman he could not forget and the life he built in the hills, and it reached 4.8 million viewers within its first full week.
4/7Lock Upp (Season 2)

Series · 2022 · Hindi · Feb 27, 2022
Netflix8.7Viewers, week of 27 Jul 4.2 million The captive-reality format — sixteen celebrities locked in a jail set for weeks on end — returns for a second season and lands fourth at 4.2 million viewers. Reality and unscripted account for three of this week's top four.
5/7Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya

Series · 2026 · Hindi · Jul 24, 2026
Prime VideoViewers, week of 27 Jul 4 million The other 24 July premiere: a school comedy in which a relaxed principal and a staff room of misfits try to drag a failing public school back to its feet. Four million viewers in week one puts it within touching distance of Musafir Cafe.
7/7Anupamaa

Series · 2020 · Hindi · Jul 13, 2020
JioHotstar4.7Viewers, week of 27 Jul 3.2 million Running since 2020 and still charting, the story of a woman who rebuilds her life on her own terms closes the published list at 3.2 million viewers. Three of this week's seven titles are daily television rather than streaming originals.
Two new premieres in the top five, both from 24 July, and both comfortably beaten by a comedy format that started on YouTube — that is roughly the shape of Indian streaming in mid-2026.
