Every Tom Holland Film and Show That Matters — and Where to Watch Them in India
He was a child actor in a tsunami drama before he was Spider-Man, and in July 2026 he was Telemachus for Christopher Nolan and Peter Parker for Sony two weeks apart. The complete guide, in order.

Tom Holland has spent nine years being the most commercially valuable actor of his generation and roughly the same length of time trying to prove he is not only Spider-Man. Almost everything in the second half of this list is an attempt at that — a Netflix southern gothic, an Apple limited series, a Russo brothers drama about addiction, a PlayStation adaptation — and none of it moved the needle the way the fifth entry did.
The Odyssey did. Christopher Nolan cast him as Telemachus, the son looking for a father twenty years gone, opposite Matt Damon's Odysseus, Anne Hathaway's Penelope and Zendaya's Athena. It opened on 17 July 2026 to the biggest global debut of Nolan's career and has passed $1.12 billion, making it Nolan's highest-grossing film. Two weeks later Spider-Man: Brand New Day opened to the biggest weekend in the history of the medium. Between the two films he is attached to more than $2.8 billion of 2026 box office.
Below is the work in release order, with India availability against each. Worth noting how early the range was visible: he was fifteen and carrying scenes opposite Naomi Watts in The Impossible four years before anyone put him in a suit.
1/13The Impossible

Film · 2012 · English · Sep 9, 2012
Fifteen years old, playing Lucas in J. A. Bayona's account of a family separated by the 2004 tsunami, and holding the film's centre opposite Naomi Watts for long stretches. It is a considerably better performance than a debut has any business being, and the reason his eventual casting as Spider-Man was less of a gamble than it appeared.
2/13In the Heart of the Sea

Film · 2015 · English · Dec 3, 2015
Ron Howard's whaling disaster picture, with Holland as the young Thomas Nickerson opposite Chris Hemsworth. It lost money and is mostly forgotten, and it is on this list because it is the last film he made before Marvel — the end of the period when he was a promising British child actor rather than a global property.
3/13Captain America: Civil War

Film · 2016 · English · Apr 27, 2016
JioHotstarSix minutes of screen time that reset the character. Spider-Man had been rebooted twice in fourteen years to diminishing returns; Holland's airport-fight appearance here was the point at which audiences agreed to try again. $1.15 billion, and none of it his responsibility.
4/13Spider-Man: Homecoming

Film · 2017 · English · Jul 5, 2017
NetflixPrime VideoJioHotstarWorldwide gross $880,978,185 $881 million, a high-school comedy rather than another origin story, and Michael Keaton playing the villain as a working man with a grievance. It is also where he was cast opposite Zendaya, which by 2026 has produced five films and a marriage neither of them has formally announced.
5/13Avengers: Infinity War

Film · 2018 · English · Apr 25, 2018
JioHotstarWorldwide gross $2,052,415,039 The film that gave him the single most-replayed scene of his career — the ending, on Titan — and which is why the character carries emotional weight the two previous screen Spider-Men never accumulated. $2.05 billion, seventh-biggest film ever made.
6/13Spider-Man: Far From Home

Film · 2019 · English · Jun 28, 2019
NetflixPrime VideoJioHotstarSonyLIVWorldwide gross $1,132,723,226 $1.13 billion, the first Sony-produced Spider-Man film to cross a billion, and effectively the epilogue to Avengers: Endgame two months earlier. It is also the film in which MJ becomes a lead rather than a running joke.
7/13The Devil All the Time

Film · 2020 · English · Sep 11, 2020
NetflixThe clearest early statement of intent: a grim Netflix southern gothic in which he plays a young man who solves his problems with violence, opposite Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård and Sebastian Stan. It is the least Spider-Man thing on the list and the film that made the Nolan casting legible in retrospect. Streaming on Netflix in India.
8/13Cherry

Film · 2021 · English · Feb 26, 2021
Apple TV+The Russo brothers' adaptation of Nico Walker's novel, with Holland as an army medic who returns from Iraq into opioid addiction and bank robbery. It was savaged and it is the most physically committed work he has done — the performance is not the problem with the film. On Apple TV+.
9/13Spider-Man: No Way Home

Film · 2021 · English · Dec 15, 2021
JioHotstarSonyLIVWorldwide gross $1,921,426,073 $1.92 billion, the eighth-biggest film ever released, and the one that put three live-action Spider-Men on screen at once. It closes with the character stripped of everyone who knows him, which is the most consequential ending the franchise has given him. On JioHotstar and SonyLIV in India.
10/13Uncharted

Film · 2022 · English · Feb 10, 2022
NetflixPrime VideoJioHotstarSonyLIVThe attempt at a second franchise, adapted from the PlayStation series with Mark Wahlberg as Sully. It made around $407 million — enough for Sony to talk about a sequel and not enough for anyone to hurry. On Netflix and Prime Video in India.
11/13The Crowded Room

Series · 2023 · English · Jun 8, 2023
Apple TV+An Apple TV+ limited series in which he plays a man arrested after a shooting in 1979 New York, opposite Amanda Seyfried. He has spoken since about how hard the shoot was and took an extended break afterwards. It divided critics sharply and is the most demanding thing he had done before The Odyssey.
12/13The Odyssey

Film · 2026 · English · Jul 15, 2026
Global opening $263.8M Worldwide gross $1,122,074,345 Telemachus, in Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer — the first feature ever shot entirely on IMAX 70mm film, and now Nolan's highest-grossing picture at over $1.12 billion, ahead of both Dark Knight sequels. It opened to $263.8 million worldwide, the biggest global debut of Nolan's career. Nine years of trying to be taken seriously outside the suit, resolved in a single July weekend. Still in cinemas.
13/13Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Film · 2026 · English · Jul 29, 2026
Opening weekend (US) $360,091,572 Worldwide gross $1,708,805,242 Two weeks after The Odyssey, and the biggest opening weekend in the history of cinema — $360.1 million domestically, past Avengers: Endgame — followed by $1 billion worldwide in six days.
