October's Indian streaming calendar is front-loaded. Four of the eight titles below arrived on the first day of the month, split between Netflix and Prime Video: a Hindi comedy's second season, a Tamil spy sequel fresh from cinemas, a Hindi film about a boy and his dog, and a prestige American adaptation of a Steinbeck novel.

The listings are in release order rather than ranked, so position one is simply the first thing to land. We have included only titles whose Indian date appears in at least two published release calendars or is confirmed by the title's own India listing, and whose platform matches our data. Anything that did not clear that bar is left out rather than guessed at.

Dates are the announced Indian premiere dates. Streaming schedules slip, so a card reflects the plan at the time of writing rather than a guarantee.

Some titles are missing because their dates did not hold up when we checked. The Diplomat's fourth season returns on Netflix in mid-October, but the Indian date differs between listings. Several smaller titles in the weekly calendars could not yet be matched to a confirmed India listing.
