Paramount Now Owns Warner Bros: The Biggest Franchises Under One Roof, and Where They Stream in India
Harry Potter, Batman, Game of Thrones, Top Gun, Mission: Impossible and The Godfather now belong to one company, Skydance. In India, twelve of the fourteen titles below already sit on the same service.

On 6 October 2026 Paramount Skydance completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery and renamed the combined company Skydance. Warner Bros. Discovery's shareholders were paid $31.02 a share in cash, valuing the deal at about $110.9 billion. It ends a contest that began in December 2025, when Warner Bros. Discovery agreed to sell itself to Netflix. In February 2026 its board declared Paramount's higher offer superior, and Netflix walked away.
The new company owns two film studios, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, plus HBO, CNN, CBS and two streaming services, Paramount+ and HBO Max. Its closing announcement says those two services 'will unify into a single service over time'. It does not say when, what the service will be called, or anything about India.
What has not changed is where the films and shows already stream in India. Below are fourteen of the best-known titles now owned by one company, with the studio each came from. JioHotstar carries twelve of them, which makes it the closest thing Indian viewers already have to a combined Paramount and Warner service. One is on Prime Video alone, and one can only be rented.
