Korean drama is the one international genre whose back catalogue keeps working on Indian streaming. Most of the shows below finished their run years ago, and Netflix's own engagement report shows them still being watched in large numbers: Crash Landing on You, first aired in 2019, drew 3.4 million views worldwide between January and June 2026, and All of Us Are Dead drew 5.8 million.
The fourteen below are in the order they first aired, not ranked. They cover the forms a newcomer is likely to want: romance, revenge thriller, legal drama, zombie horror, a superhero series, and the survival show that made Korean television a global export. Thirteen are on Netflix in India; one, Moving, is on JioHotstar.
Most K-dramas run a single season of 12 to 16 episodes of about an hour each, so a whole story is a commitment of 12 to 20 hours rather than years.
