About Lead

Lead is a 2024 Azerbaijani drama film directed by Rustam Babazadeh. It runs 20 minutes. The cast is led by Rasim Jafar, Zaur Shafiyev and Asiman Aga Rovshan.

After ten years away, the younger brother suddenly shows up at the house of the elder, who lives alone in their native village. He is on the run, hunted by the police and probably by criminals. The elder is faced with a choice between his own principles and a brother’s duty. Their last act of quiet care will be a meal taken together, with no final settling of the conflict and no redemption.
